Well, the dog didn’t make the cut. Instead, I decided to go with a horse.
Here’s the first sketch:

It suddenly dawned on me, that combining an interesting animal with a peaceful landscape not impossible. It’s closer to my sample than a dog in an interior.. I’ll probably put the good old German Shepherd in a finished drawing, once I’ve gotten past the show. I’m looking forward to that, and I hope you do, too.
Here’s the second sketch, and probably the final sketch before the (Ta Da!) completed work. We’ll see how that turns out. In the meantime….

I’m not a stranger to drawing horses, which helps a lot when you’re working with a blurry picture.
For a few years, I donated a winged horse drawing to a local charity.


So, then, let’s get this machine rolling. There are odds and ends of things to do before the show comes along on April 30
