So, I realize that my idea of posting on YouTube is dead in still water. Why? I realized that the people who have really good video channels, post about a subject other than themselves. They’re informative, and entertaining.
So, talking about one’s self, doesn’t seem to be all that interesting. Unless, of course, you’re a celebrity. Would anyone really be interested in someone yakking about her artwork?
For instance….
Remember this? It turned out to be more of a work in progress than I realized. I made many revisions, and of course, it looks far different from my original vision.
Would anyone really want to hear the story of the subject matter, and how it came about? Whether you’re interested or not, here goes.
I believe I told you numerous times about the choo-choo train that links my little city of Danbury, Connecticut to my brother’s little city of Norwalk, Connecticut. So….
While I was on my way home, the train chugging and beeping along, I saw two children playing on a rock in their yard. No big deal, right?
This sight was no big deal, until you realized the kinds were dressed in colorful, summer clothing. Yes, it was spring, but very early, when the world is still in dull colors, except the red buds on the trees.
Only problem, is that it was about sixty degrees Fahrenheit out. The kids were rushing the season, in shorts and short sleeves.
Big deal. I enjoyed drawing it though.
BTW, about the title, when I was growing up, we did have a big rock in the backyard.
And just for the heck of it, here’s a cat.
