If I’m leaving anyone out please forgive me.  I’ve read that just about all religions have a celebration around now, and I’m not aware of all of them.

But speaking of the holidays, and why I’ve gotten sidetracked:

Last year, at Pony Rides for a Purpose, I donated a gift certificate for a pet portrait.  I had just about forgotten about it, since it was over a year ago.  However, in my inbox a message shows up….is it too late to do a dog portrait? In time for Christmas?

So, I’ve put the rainbow drawing aside while I work feverishly at the dog portrait, actually two dogs.  Literally feverishly, I’ve been fighting the flu.  I’ve started a new day job,  and have other things in my personal life that are calling my attention.  Somehow, I will get this portrait finished in time for Christmas…and my reward?  I’ll be able to go back to the rainbow drawing, which I’ve gotten really enthusiastic about.
