I, like most residents of the East Coast, got socked in by the snow. Darkness or low barometer, I don’t know, but I had little or no energy. I did not much of anything, either artwise or housework wise.
I decided to do little OSWOA, or Other Small Works of Art, since I am running low on paper. They are postcard sized, 4 by 6 inch pieces of art. One I did of the snowstorm turned out to be a pretty accurate record of the storm…grey and depressing. I modified it a bit, and came up with this, which is very faint, the way the details of the landscape were, behind the falling snow.
Not much, eh? It does give me an idea for a finished piece, though, worth using some of my dwindling supply of big paper. In the meantime, I leave you with this work from last year: Making Peace with January.
