$$$$$ Changes Everything $$$$$$

While I was unwinding from my day job, I called a good friend  In the course of conversation, she asked if I had any Christmas cards for sale.  Then it dawned on me, if I play my cards right, I could be making $$$$ with my artwork for Christmas, instead of slaving in a store among desperate shoppers….

I had a plan.  Instead of doing my one, little puny,  handmade card a day, I would take a holiday motif, make a full-sized picture and create Christmas cards with it for next year.  I was enthusiastic, and all set to go.

It then dawned on me, how long it takes for me to do a finished, full size work.  I have a backlog of ideas to do, and not enough time.  I may do the holiday card next year, but using one of my already finished winter themed works.  So, you see, sometimes money doesn’t change everything.

Here are some examples of previous winter works:

For example.  Otherwise, I am putting it out to God, The Goddess, The Universe or Whatever It Is Out There, that I make enough money next year that I don’t have to do the Christmas rush in a retail store.

Oh, yes, and the Yuletide card of the day:

  1. You are really good! My sister loves to draw! I think I will show her your blog!

    1. Thanks so much for the compliment…I hope your sister continues to draw!

      1. Oh, I’m sure she will. She says she isn’t good but if you look at her stuff, she is pretty good for her age.

  2. Yes, it’s a matter of keeping at it. If she’s young, and good, she’s got a good head start.

    1. Oh yeah, I’ll make sure she keeps at it. Though, her drama queen moments are annoying… she’ll keep at it.
