Yesterday was the festival for which I neglected artwork, and housework for. I had a good time, but, no sales. I feel I might have been successful if I had done some small portraits of people for not too much money. It was a very child oriented event. Lot’s of face painting and arts and crafts for kids.

I did get some good exposure though…gave out some cards, and magnets. Little by little I’m getting the equipment together to do more high end outdoor shows, too. I bought some gridwall. I also found that an EZ up tent that costs over $400 on Dick Blick, is available at KMart for $149. Promptly put one on layaway.

I may do the show again, next year, but better prepared. So, now, back to work on “Scraggly Weed”.
