Less than a success….
I didn’t make much money at the Artisan Market in Soho. I was kind of stuck downstairs in a corner. I did get some good exposure, but not enough to justify the expense. Anyway, back to the street idea. For those of you who might be interested: Petition to Revoke Restrictions on Street Artists…

Completely Illrelevant, but then again, maybe not….
I’ll be working on the background of “Winged Foal”, and I expect it will take some time. Rather than bore you with repetitive pictures of the progress, I thought I’d post something I’ve shown no one, until now. A few years back I was totally stuck. My representational art was coming out less than awesome. …

An oldie but a goodie
I’m working on “Winged Foal”, and gradually putting in the background. I learned that, even if it’s a blank space, it makes the image more interesting to put a design in the background. This is an old picture from when I lived in Greenwich, CT. many eons ago. Working on this I taught myself a…

Work in Progress, and Important Things I have learned…..
Working on the winged horse….here’s where it stands now. Important things I have learned from this project: 1. Horses are fun to draw 2. Butterfly wings are boring to draw. 3. Never work on a drawing when you think you might still have cake on the side of your hand. Fortunately, the cake is…

Butterfly, House Fly, Horse Fly
Finished the 5×7 colored pencil of the winged foal. I don’t have a title for it, yet, inspiration has yet to strike. So, I have a few projects to work on, but I’m going to take a bit of a rest before I get started. Another way of reading that sentence is: “I…
