One thing or another, I haven’t been able to do artwork. Earlier in the month, I had Covid-19. I also was getting ready for knee replacement surgery. As it turns out, I’m feeling fine, no one who has been in contact with me has gotten sick, and I quarantined as required.
As it turns out, I’m still testing positive to that sneaky disease. So, the surgery had been put off. I also have to quarantine once again.
I’ll bet that more about my personal life than you need to know. I’m just so frustrated, and I don’t care who knows it.
The good thing is, I can do artwork now that I’m feeling better and the holidays are over. Here’s one that I just completed, “January Thaw”.

This is another January drawing. One year, to make the most of the winter, I did drawing of making peace with each month. I like this! It’s been buried in my file, and my mind for years.
But of course, and who can forget, February is coming up. So is Groundhog Day.

My surgery has been rescheduled for February 8. Come on February!
