Just as I like cats.

When I was in high school, another girl my age, grumbled,”Why do you do so many trees?”.

I thought it was a silly question, so I just told her “I like trees “.

In remembrance of that girl,

I have named this drawing, “I like trees”.

Honestly, I always wonder why she had the irritation in her voice.

But then, she was a teenager. Who knows what goes on in a teenager’s mind. I don’t even want to remember what was going through mine.

So, as for liking trees, I’ve decided to do a series of tree pictures,as I did with cats.

So,far, I have only done two, and a third that didn’t work out so well.

This is a copy, in spirit, of a drawing I did in high school, about the time I irritated that girl.

What I liked about that, and this drawing, was that the abundance of green, created a mood.

Of course, I shoot for trying to capture a mood in all my work

Yes,I like trees. Even winter trees.
