I haven’t posted in a while, because of turbulent times in my personal life.  I’ve been laid off from one day job, and I’m starting another. We went for a few days in snowy weather without heat in the condo complex.  And generally, my creativity quotient has been at zero.

But in that time, a major yearly event passed.  For Christians, it’s Candlemas, for almost everyone else, it’s Ground Hog Day.  For Pagans, it’s Imbolc, which celebrates the very first, early signs of the approach of spring.  Yes, spring is coming, I see it in the returning longer days, I feel it in my bones.  Time to kiss this rotten winter good-bye.

So, I mustered the dregs I have of creativity at the moment, and did this drawing I call “Groundhog Day”.  I hope you enjoy it, and I hope it won’t be as long before I have another drawing to post.
