I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday, whichever you celebrate. I’m sending good thoughts for everyone for a wonderful 2016.  I’ll be presenting my worst of the year,soon, and it may include THIS:

That’s mud alright, in it’s basic boring form.  When I took the photo, I was intrigued by the sculptural quality of the leaves, and the contrasting texture of the wet soil.  Somehow, all this didn’t translate well into the drawing, so damn, damn, damn!  All I can say is damn.

Anyway, I’m left with the question, due I pursue this more carefully in a full sized version?  I do have an idea that might make it sing, and since I have no other idea giving me blinding inspiration at the moment….if I want to keep my drawing routine up, I guess I do.

So, hopefully, I’ll have an update by New Years Eve.
