Mate for Life???? Who does that anymore?

Crows do.

Some people do, too.

There are probably other animals in the world who do, but this is a post about crows.  And people.

Going back down memory lane, I have a few drawings that were metaphors for lifetime relationships.

As my boyfriend says, “I guess we’re stuck together”

  1. Pigeons mate for life as well.
    Beautiful work! You are outstanding!

    1. Thanks for the compliment, and thanks for the info on pigeons! I didn’t know that.

      1. Welcome! Doves and pigeons are in the same family. Therefore, mates for life with each other. Even though their life is usually very short due to cars, planes, and predators.

  2. I think knowing a lot of seemingly little bits of information shows an awareness and interest in life. And it is interesting.
