I’m looking at the ads for artists in Craigslist. They all want “cutting edge”, “raw”, “urban”, and “antagonistic” art. Is it a matter of these being done by young artists, to whom these things still matter? Or am I totally off on what’s the trend today?

Here’s an update on the “Companions” sketch. I’ve added some yellow to the composition to give the impression of incandescent light. It’s funny, but incandescent light always make me think of home, and the nurturing feeling that goes on in homes.
