Yes, it’s been one of those kind of summer days. It’s hot, and it knocks all the energy out of me. And out of my boyfriend. And out of our cats.

I did finish the drawing above, but that was a few days ago. It was relatively simple to do. I really did need a break from heavy drawing like I did in the carousel work.

This, the mountain laurel was a little tedious, but I’ll take that. Onwards!

However, I’ve started a drawing which is a very intense labor ahead. I must be a real glutton for punishment.
