I wasn’t sure what to title this piece, I was thinking about “Roses, Curves and Lines”. It would give the viewer an idea of the abstract qualities of this drawing.

I see that I cropped this picture wrong. What a load of crop! Sorry, bad pun.

I’ll be photographing all my work again, in a higher resolution to make it easier for a Print on Demand site. As you can see, I’ve been thinking, even if I haven’t been posting.

So, where have I been? This answer is simply this:

I didn’t have any finished work to show.

I’ve been healing from my second knee replacement, and I couldn’t stand at the easel. So, all I drew were note cards for a while.

So, back to roses. Here’s one of my favorites, clumsily photographed. I drew this when realism was more important to me.

I have an idea for my next drawing, but it’s going to have to wait until I get a new load of my good paper.
